Privacy & Cookie Policy
How we collect, use, and protect your personal information.
Last updated: 22 April 2026
Fraser Finance Solutions (“we”, “us”, “our”) is committed to protecting your privacy. This policy explains what personal information we collect about you when you use our website or enquire about our services, how we use that information, who we share it with, and your rights under UK data protection law.
1. Who we are
Fraser Finance Solutions is a trading name of Elil Sales Ltd, an appointed representative of Commercial and Asset Finance Ltd, which is authorised and regulated by the Financial Conduct Authority (FRN 729014).
For the purposes of UK GDPR, Elil Sales Ltd is the data controller of the personal information you share with us through this website.

2. Information we collect
We only collect information that’s necessary to respond to your enquiry or provide our services. The main categories are:
2.1 Information you give us
- Contact details — your name, email address, phone number and business name when you fill in our contact form or message us via WhatsApp.
- Enquiry details — information about the funding you’re looking for, your business, and anything else you tell us in the course of your enquiry.
- Chatbot conversations — if you use our on-site chatbot, we may retain the content of your conversation to help us answer your question and improve the service.
2.2 Information we collect automatically
- Cookies and similar technologies — see the Cookie Policy section below.
- Usage data — pages you visit, how long you spend, device and browser type, and your approximate location (derived from IP address). We only collect this via analytics tools if you’ve given consent.
2.3 Information we collect from third parties
If we progress an enquiry into a finance application, we may receive further information about you or your business from credit reference agencies, lenders we introduce you to, and publicly available sources such as Companies House.
3. How we use your information
We use your personal information for the following purposes, and we always rely on one of the “lawful bases” set out in UK GDPR:
| What we do | Lawful basis |
|---|---|
| Respond to your enquiry and discuss your funding needs | Legitimate interest (to handle your enquiry) / steps prior to entering a contract |
| Introduce you to lenders and process a finance application | Performance of a contract / consent |
| Comply with our regulatory obligations under FCA rules and anti-money-laundering law | Legal obligation |
| Run website analytics and improve our service | Consent (via our cookie banner) |
| Send you marketing or follow-up messages about our services | Consent (you can withdraw at any time) |
4. Who we share your information with
We don’t sell your personal information. We only share it with:
- Lenders and finance providers — when we introduce your application to them. They then become a separate data controller in their own right and will have their own privacy notice.
- Our regulatory principal — Commercial and Asset Finance Ltd, which is authorised and regulated by the FCA.
- Service providers that help us run the business — for example our website host (Hostinger), email provider, and any professional advisers (e.g. accountants, solicitors). These providers are bound by contract to keep your information secure and use it only on our instructions.
- Regulators, law enforcement or the courts where we are legally required to do so.
5. International transfers
We aim to keep your personal data within the UK or European Economic Area. Where any service provider we use processes data outside the UK/EEA (for example, certain analytics or email providers based in the US), we rely on appropriate safeguards such as the UK International Data Transfer Addendum or Standard Contractual Clauses.
6. How long we keep your information
We only keep your personal information for as long as we need it for the purposes set out above:
- General enquiries that don’t progress to an application — typically up to 12 months, after which we delete them.
- Customer records (where a finance application was placed) — at least 6 years after the end of our relationship with you, to meet FCA record-keeping and HMRC requirements. [Fraser to confirm retention periods in line with FCA/AML policy.]
- Website analytics — aggregated analytics data is retained for up to 14 months.
7. Your rights
Under UK GDPR you have the following rights in relation to your personal data. You can exercise any of them by contacting us using the details in section 1:
- Right of access — ask us for a copy of the personal information we hold about you.
- Right to rectification — ask us to correct anything that’s inaccurate or incomplete.
- Right to erasure — ask us to delete your personal information, subject to our legal and regulatory obligations.
- Right to restrict processing — ask us to pause certain uses of your personal information while we investigate your concerns.
- Right to data portability — ask us to provide your data in a structured, commonly-used format, where we’re processing it on the basis of consent or a contract.
- Right to object — object to us processing your data on the basis of legitimate interest, or for direct marketing.
- Right to withdraw consent — where we’re processing your data based on consent, you can change your mind at any time.
We’ll respond within one month of receiving a valid request.
If you’re unhappy with how we’ve handled your data, you can complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office (ICO) at ico.org.uk, by calling 0303 123 1113, or in writing to: Information Commissioner’s Office, Wycliffe House, Water Lane, Wilmslow, Cheshire, SK9 5AF.
8. Security
We take reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect your personal data, including encrypted connections (HTTPS), access controls on our systems, and regular software updates. No online service can be 100% secure, so if you notice anything that looks wrong please let us know straight away.
9. Links to other websites
Our website contains links to third-party websites (for example lender sites or social media pages). We’re not responsible for how those sites handle your personal data — please read their own privacy notices.
10. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time to reflect changes in our services, in the law, or in best practice. The “Last updated” date at the top shows when it was last revised. We recommend reviewing it occasionally.
Cookie Policy
What are cookies?
Cookies are small text files placed on your device when you visit a website. They let the site remember things about your visit — for example, whether you’re logged in, which cookie preferences you’ve set, or how you use the site so we can improve it.
Where the law requires, we only set non-essential cookies after you’ve given consent through our cookie banner. You can change your choices at any time by clicking “Cookie Settings” in the footer.
Categories of cookies we use
Strictly necessary
These cookies are required for the site to work. They don’t need consent because without them the site won’t function. Examples: keeping you logged in to the admin area, remembering your cookie preferences, protecting forms against spam.
Analytics (optional)
These cookies help us understand how visitors use the site — which pages are popular, how people find us, whether anything is broken. They only fire after you accept them. We use Google Analytics 4 for this. [Note: GA4 will be installed after this policy goes live.]
Marketing (optional)
We don’t currently run marketing or advertising pixels on this site. If that ever changes, we’ll update this policy and ask for your consent before any marketing cookies are set.
Third-party services
Some third-party services we use may set their own cookies when you interact with them:
- WhatsApp chat button — if you click to start a WhatsApp conversation, WhatsApp’s own cookies and terms apply.
- Fraser Finance chatbot — stores a short-lived identifier so it can keep track of your conversation within a single visit.
- Embedded content (e.g. social media icons, maps) — may set cookies if you interact with them.
Managing cookies
You can withdraw or change your consent at any time using the Cookie Settings link in our footer. You can also block or delete cookies directly through your browser — see aboutcookies.org for guidance. Please note that disabling essential cookies may stop parts of the site from working.
